In a traffic exchange, its a waste of time, because the people who will view your site are only doing it because they want traffic for their site, so they arent really interested in your site, so whatever you are trying to sell or make money from is going to fail since they are not genuinely interested in your site or your products, and if you are trying to make money on pay per click ads, they wont click because they know about those ads already, and like I said, they arent interested in whatever your selling so relevant ads are not going to interest them into clicking.
