Is a traffic exchange a good way to get traffic?
Q. is there any down side to a traffic exchange? if so what are they?

A. In a traffic exchange, its a waste of time, because the people who will view your site are only doing it because they want traffic for their site, so they arent really interested in your site, so whatever you are trying to sell or make money from is going to fail since they are not genuinely interested in your site or your products, and if you are trying to make money on pay per click ads, they wont click because they know about those ads already, and like I said, they arent interested in whatever your selling so relevant ads are not going to interest them into clicking.

A. Traffic Exchange is nothing but getting traffic to your site and providing hits to other sites on Megauploads. It just like link exchange where either party exchange links to rank high in Search Engines.

A. It really depends on what is your niche or target. Traffic exchanges a really good to create awareness and brand your site. Solo ads a good for fast response. But you have to try to look for target solo ads. I suggest you use both as I beleive that in advertising like other areas in business it is good to diversify.

A. I believe if your intention is just to get people to click on your ads with no intention of making any purchases this is against the Google Adsense TOS. This sounds a bit underhanded to me. Why not build authentic traffic to your site? Spend your time doing this and you'll make more money with AdWords and you will also be building a website that has real value that you could possible sell to someone for a real amount of money.

A. If you mean to strike advertisement money, I would be careful of using such programs as some are scams in disguise promising hundreds of dollars in return and it turns out to be not legit.

I really wouldnt suggest traffic exchange sites, unless you have huge amounts of traffics popunder ads wont pay much, and it also depends on the type of site your running...blogs usually index better plus any software you want can be found for free just google the name of it followed by "cracked/ripped/rapidshar e" ect...
